Robin And The Giant: Music
Myths Of Winter
(Robin And The Giant)
Words and Music by Larry Whitler
I'm no doctor but it's safe to say
Cold weather undeniably affects the brain
How else could you possibly begin to explain
The myths of Winter
Your Honor I present to you Exhibit "A"
This teasing and disturbing ploy called shopping days
May I be so bold to say a day is a day
That's the way it's always been, Sir
Now I don't mean
To go against the trend
But the myths of Winter
Can sure confuse a pre-adolescent
Continuing, let's now discuss Exhibit "B"
The temperature's the temperature, you must agree
So chill factors, therefore must be a fantasy
Another myth of Winter
Last, may I expose to you my final myth
The reporting of an inch of snow as two feet of drifts
When it rains reports of waves simply do not exist
Am I making some sense, Sir?
Now I don't mean
To go against the trend
But the myths of Winter
Can sure confuse a pre-adolescent
I'm no doctor but it's safe to say
Cold weather undeniably affects the brain
How else could you possibly explain
The myths of Winter
Your Honor I present to you Exhibit "A"
This teasing and disturbing ploy called shopping days
May I be so bold to say a day is a day
That's the way it's always been, Sir
Now I don't mean
To go against the trend
But the myths of Winter
Can sure confuse a pre-adolescent
