Robin And The Giant: Music
Bitten By The Birds And Bees
(Robin And The Giant)

Words and Music by Robin MacBlane and Larry Whitler
Jimmy has a crush on Susan in Math
He sent her a note
But she didn't write back
Susan had read what Jimmy had to say
She called him a "Nerd"
And threw it away
Jimmy calls Susan every afternoon
"Can't talk now, I've got to clean my room"
What Jimmy doesn't know
And what Susan doesn't see
Is they've both been bitten
By the Birds and Bees
Susan went down to the lake for a swim
Saw Jimmy there and said "HI" to him
Jimmy moved his wet hair out of his eyes
"Susan", he said, "What a nice surprise!"
"It's awfully hot, would you like a drink?"
"Sure, but what would the Missus think?"
Back when Susan said "No"
That's when Jimmy went free
To find another girl bitten
By the Birds and Bees
It's nothing new
It may have even happened to you
When the Birds and Bees start biting
There's nothing anyone can do
Jimmy went bald and Susan turned gray
He met her on the street after his wife passed away
Susan took his hand almost cautiously
And said "Old Friend, have lunch with me"
What Jimmy now knows
And what Susan would agree
Is they've always been bitten
By The Birds and Bees
It's nothing new
It may have even happened to you
When the Birds and Bees start biting
There's nothing anyone can do
Jimmy has a crush on Susan in Math
He sent her a note
But she didn't write back
Susan had read what Jimmy had to say
She called him a "Nerd"
And threw it away
Jimmy calls Susan every afternoon
"Can't talk now, I've got to clean my room"
What Jimmy doesn't know
And what Susan doesn't see
Is they've both been bitten
By the Birds and Bees
